Transaction-Network in one paragraph
Transaction-Network GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 2021 by Gerd Bart and is based in Gottmadingen on Lake Constance, Germany. The company develops a vendor-neutral service infrastructure for industry. Transaction-Network connects machines from different manufacturers in one shared network: a factory keeps all of its machines in one account. This makes collaboration between machine builders, machine operators and material suppliers simpler. Existing systems stay in place and are connected through Transaction-Network. This lets companies organize industrial service processes across company boundaries from one place and handle them efficiently.
Founder
Gerd Bart, founder and CEO
Gerd Bart founded Transaction-Network in 2021 and leads the company as CEO. He comes from digital retail, where he built e-commerce for retail brands. At Sybit, an SAP consultancy, he and his team developed customer portals for leading machine builders, including myBühler, MyMULTIVAC and KHS Connect. Along the way he saw what a manufacturer's portal cannot solve on its own: a plant runs machines from many manufacturers, and each one comes with its own portal.
