Gottmadingen, October 27, 2022 – Gerd Bart, Managing Director of Transaction-Network, and Martin Plutz, Managing Director of oculavis, enter into partnership. Combining the two offerings creates a holistic solution for mechanical and plant engineering.
- Transaction-Network – the customer portal for machine builders
- oculavis – AR video support for the industry
- A holistic solution for machine and plant builders
oculavis is the leading AR video support software for the industry. The device-independent solution networks machines & plants with experts, technicians and customers around the world. Intuitive augmented reality (AR) annotations in the video call enable targeted collaboration. Through oculavis, machine builders can provide machine documentation to their customers via augmented reality or connect live with an employee on site and solve problems remotely. Remote video support, step-by-step tutorials and augmented reality content represent core competencies.
Transaction-Network’s customer portal software focuses on all interactions between the machine builder and its customers. The portal covers all important processes in after-sales service and closely interlinks them. All relevant machine information is bundled on one platform, thus creating the basis for the digital twin. Users access any of these machine information and documents, can also conveniently identify spare and wear parts via a digital spare parts catalog and order them via the online store, schedule their maintenance and services, and monitor the equipment.
“With Transaction-Network we do not only offer a customer portal, but rather we create the required data basis and digital platform, which bundles all machine relevant information in one place and can output it to various applications. In cooperation with oculavis, we are able to provide all information from the technical documents, information about spare parts and machine master data on during the AR video support,” emphasizes Gerd Bart and adds “oculavis, on the other hand, offers us the possibility to provide remote and AR video support options to our customers directly from the platform.”
